Patna:Several parties from Bihar have entered the UP assembly elections this year. At least four regional parties in Bihar have formally announced that they will contest in alliance or on their own in UP. Two of these 4 regional parties are part of the NDA in Bihar. JDU is all set to contest the elections and its leaders claim that they are discussing with the BJP for seat sharing .

Meanwhile, bjp has not uttered a word on possible seat sharing with JD in UP. A senior BJP functionary said that we have our helpers - apna dal and Nishad Party - with whom seat sharing is being finalized. We don't know about any other alliance sat at the moment.

The same Bihar minister Mukesh Sahni, who heads the Developing Human Beings Party (VIP), is all set to contest 165 Nishad dominated seats in UP. The VIP is not discussing with the BJP, which has already tied up with its arch rival Nishad Party. The same Chirag Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party is another party in Bihar trying its luck in the Uttar Pradesh elections. Party leaders say they will contest on their own and try to field candidates in as many statistics as possible. Former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha Secular is also making his debut in Uttar Pradesh politics. Manjhi has said that he would prefer to go alone if not enough seats are given in an alliance.
