Shah Rukh Khan is all set to back with films like Pathaan and Jawan after three years but its looks like even before the release of film they landed into a legal trouble. Shah Rukh Khan has collaborated with Atlee in his next film titled Jawan. According to reports, a complaint has been filed against Atlee for allegedly copying the story of Jawan from the Tamil film Perarasu.

South film Vijayakanth’s Perarasu was released in 2006. In the film Vijayakanth played a dual role as Perarasu and Ilavarasu, twin brothers, in Perarasu. Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly also playing dual roles in Jawaan, but it has not been confirmed by the makers yet. The report names Tamil film producer Manickam Narayanan as the complainant. The complaint was filed against Atlee at the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC).

Atlee, who is one of the most successful filmmakers in Tamil cinema in recent times, has also faced plagiarism allegations in the past. A complaint has been filed against Atlee for allegedly making  Jawan by copying the story of the Tamil film Perarasu. The film, which is scheduled to be released in June next year, is currently being shot TFPC board members will be investigating the complaint filed by Manikam Narayanan after November 7,

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero, which released in 2018. The film also starred Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. It was a total dud at the box office.  Shah Rukh Khan has three releases in 2023. Pathaan releases on January 25, 2023, Jawan on June 2, 2023, and Dunki will see the light of the day on December 22, 2023
