These days, the trend of re-releasing old films has increased in Bollywood. Recently, many old films have been shown again in theaters. Now Shahrukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Rani Mukherjee starrer film 'Veer Zaara' has also been included in this list. The film was directed by Yash Chopra, which is considered one of his most iconic films. This film is releasing in theaters today i.e. on 13 September, 2024. 'Veer Zaara' was first released in 2004, and now it can be seen again after 20 years. On the first day of its release, 3250 tickets have been sold, which is a good number for an old film released on 250 screens.

Excitement about the film: There is a lot of excitement among the people about the film. When 'Veer Zaara' was released in 2004, it received a lot of love and became the highest-grossing Indian film of the year. According to Box Office India, the film, made on a budget of Rs 23 crore, earned Rs 97.64 crore at the worldwide box office. Yash Raj Films plans to re-release the film on 250 screens, and there will be only one show on each screen. The film is being released in chains like PVR Inox, Cinepolis India and MovieMax Cinemas.

Earnings Estimate: The makers of the film expect Veer Zaara to earn around Rs 15-20 lakh on the first day. If the film performs well, its shows can also be increased. Ever since the re-release date of the film has been announced, people are very excited. One user happily wrote, "The greatest film of all time, watching this incomplete love story still gives me goosebumps." While another user wrote, "Veer-Zara will be remembered even after 200 years."

Story of the film: 'Veer Zaara' is a romantic drama film. Apart from Shahrukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Rani Mukherjee, it also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Divya Dutta and Manoj Bajpayee. The film shows the love story of Indian Air Force pilot Veer Pratap Singh and Pakistani woman Zara Hayat Khan. It is shown in the film that when Veer is returning to his country, Pakistani agencies arrest him on charges of spying. Veer remains in jail for more than 20 years and later comes out with the help of a female Pakistani lawyer. This film was so great that it also received the National Film Award.

Other re-released films: Recently, films like 'Rockstar', 'Laila Majnu', 'Love Aaj Kal', 'Maine Pyar Kiya', 'Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein' and 'Gangs of Wasseypur' have also been re-released in Bollywood, and all of them have performed well.
