Mathura: A Hindu clairvoyant has suggested Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other politicians to end vitiating the atmosphere by aimlessly attributing castes and communities to Lord Hanuman. Swami Adhokshjanand Deo Tirth on Tuesday took on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders to clearify their stand on the issue and pin down party leaders from making discourteous remarks about gods and goddesses.

The suggestion came in the lieu of Uttar Pradesh Religious Affair Minister Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary terming Lord Hanuman as a Jat. Earlier, a UP BJP Member of Legislative Council, Bukkal Nawab, dubbed Lord Hanuman a member of Muslim community.

These kind of remarks had come after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during campaigning for the Rajasthan Assembly polls, had himself called Lord Hanuman a Dalit.

Shankaracharya Adhokshajanand Deo Tirth said here that on one side the BJP, from time to time, has been bringing up the Ram temple matter and on the other, its leaders are making ridiculous remarks on Hindu gods and goddesses which hurting religious emotions .

He also said that the Ram temple in Ayodhya will be imperfect without Lord Hanuman as Ram had himself acclaimed Hanumanji calling him like his loving brother Bharat.
