Mumbai: There is a need to look at the economic revival by resuming activities in the industrial centers of Maharashtra in the midst of lockdown imposed due to Corona infection. NCP chief and former Union Minister Sharad Pawar on Friday said that by July 31, a decision on the extension of the lockdown is being made after assessing the ground situation and taking people into confidence. It is important to pay attention in case to ensure no case to increase.

Pawar, while supporting the district, said, now like the health crisis, the country and the state may have to face financial crisis too. There are important centers of industries in Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad and Nagpur states. There is a need to think about revival of industries. They say migrant workers, who have returned to their native states amid lockdown. They are keen to come back to Maharashtra and how they can go, it needs to be considered.

Pawar says, 'There is a need to take care to revive the state's economy by completely resuming industrial activities in the coming times. We are trying to understand these issues'. The NCP supremo has said that CM Uddhav Thackeray has focused for the last few months to deal with the COVID-19 situation. Pawar has told that Thackeray particularly paid attention to the situation in Mumbai, which he said is a large area, and it is necessary that the situation is improving in the metropolis. However, Thackeray will come to Nashik and will also visit other parts of the state.
