NEW DELHI: The stock market began with a slump on Thursday. The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange plunged 81.12 points, or 0.6 percent, to close at 39031.62. The Nifty fell 25.00 points, or 0.2 percent, to open at 11666.50 points.
