Meta's COO Sheryl Sandberg has resigned. After 14 years, she has left the post of number two. She announced her decision to leave Meta through a Facebook post. Even after leaving this post, she will continue to be a board member. The name of Javier Olivan has emerged as meta's new COO. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg reported about it through a Facebook post. Zuckerberg said that Sheryl Sandberg's departure is like the end of an era.  

After 14 years, his good friend and partner Sheryl Sandberg is quitting Meta's COO position. It was said about her that she is a superstar and she defined the COO role in her unique way. He further said that Javier Olivan will be the new COO of Meta. But Sandberg's role will be very different. This role will be more traditional. Where Jav will make the company's execution more efficient internally and operational. He said the way Sheryl ran the company would be missed.  

But, she will continue to benefit the company by joining the board member. Sandberg said she would now focus more on her foundation and philanthropic work. She wrote in a Facebook post that when she first met Mark, she didn't even think about changing jobs.
