Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray addressed some leaders, including Union Minister Raosaheb Danve at a function last Friday as former and potential future allies. His doing so has led to speculation of a change in Maharashtra's politics. On the other hand, Sanjay Raut has made everything clear on speculation of an alliance between BJP and Shiv Sena. Recently, Sanjay Raut said, "The Maharashtra government is committed to remain in power for five years and slammed the BJP saying that Shiv Sena does not stab anyone in the back.''

Let us tell you that the Uddhav Thackeray government, the Shiv Sena, had broken ties with the BJP after the 2019 assembly elections and formed the government along with the NCP and the Congress. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has now said, "The Maharashtra government is committed to remain in power for 5 years. Shiv Sena works on its promises. If anyone is happy with the CM's (future friend) comment, let it stay for 3 years. Shiv Sena does not stab anyone in the back.''

What Uddhav Thackeray had said- In fact, Uddhav Thackeray addressed the leaders present on the dais during the function last Friday as "my former, present and if we come together, as future colleagues." Maharashtra BJP leader Danve and senior state government minister and Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat were present on the dais. Talking to reporters at another function after the event, the Chief Minister had made it clear that he had said former and current allies because there were leaders of all parties on the dais. He also said, "If everyone comes together, they can also become future partners. Time will tell.''
