Bangalore: Congress has finally taken the final decision on the post of Chief Minister of Karnataka. Siddaramaiah will become the CM of Karnataka, while DK Shivakumar will be his deputy. Various reactions are coming out from the Congress workers on this decision. Regarding this decision of Congress High Command, DK Suresh, brother of DK Shivakumar said that he is not completely happy with this decision.

Talking to the media, he said, 'I am not completely happy, but in the interest of Karnataka, we have to fulfill our commitments. That's why Shivkumar had to accept this decision. We will see in future, there is a long way to go. He said that, I wanted (CM post for DK Shivakumar) but it did not happen. We will wait. Notably, the Congress has won Karnataka with an absolute majority, but electing the Chief Minister of the state proved to be very difficult for the party. After 4 days of lobbying and intense brainstorming after the election results, the Congress high command succeeded in resolving the dispute between Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar over the CM's chair.

Speculations were already rife that Siddaramaiah would be made the CM, while DK Shivakumar would be made his deputy. Along with this, DK Shivakumar will also hold the post of Congress unit president in Karnataka. Although it was said by Shivakumar's camp that the party leadership is agreeable to the decision of 2.5-2.5 years, no such official announcement has been made. Both these leaders will take oath on May 20.
