Kanpur: After the death of Gangster Vikas Dubey in a police encounter, there is a festive atmosphere in the Shivli town under the Kanpur countryside. People were happy with the death of Vikas and were feeding sweets to each other. Vikas Dubey, the Shivali town of Kanpur countryside, was considered to be a fortress. Vikas had entered the world of crime from Shivli itself.

In the year 2001, Vikas of Uttar Pradesh Minister of State and BJP leader Santosh Shukla murdered within the Shivli police station. Siddheshwar Pandey, the manager of Tara Chand Inter College, the middle market in Shivli, was killed by Vikas Dubey. Lallan Bajpai, former Shivli chairman, was attacked by this notorious criminal in 2002.

Lallan Bajpai was seriously injured in this attack. Gangster Vikas created panic in Shivli. In Shivli police station, there are more than 27 cases registered against Vikas. After the death of Vikas in a police encounter, there was a happy celebration in Shivli town including Lallan Bajpai's house. Lallan celebrated the death of Vikas by feeding sweets to his companions.
