Bhopal: Controversy continues over former Chief Minister Kamal Nath's statement in Madhya Pradesh ahead of the by-election. On Sunday, Kamal Nath had given a controversial statement, he called  BJP leader Imarti Devi an item and the dispute started. In this order, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has staged a sit-in today.

Shivraj Singh has recently said that he would write to Sonia Gandhi in the case and ask about taking action against Kamal Nath. Recently, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "The Congress has crossed the limit of shamelessness, the people of Madhya Pradesh are simple but know the meaning of words. The people recognize your mindset, Kamal Nath did not apologize for the statement. But the Congress party is in defense of the statement". 

In addition, he also said, "No matter how much criticism I faced, such words will not be tolerated against a sister." Navratri is going on, but such rhetoric has been made which is shameful". In his statement, the BJP leader appealed to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and said, "You are also a woman, take action on the statement made by Kamal Nath".
