Bhopal: Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chauhan expressed his enthusiasm ahead of Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi's third-term swearing-in ceremony, hailing it as a moment of great fortune for the nation. Speaking to the media on Sunday, Chauhan said, "It is the good fortune of the country that Modiji is taking oath for the third time. The resolution of a developed India will be fulfilled...the country will become a world leader ..."

Addressing queries about a potential ministerial position, Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated, "I have no information as of now..."

Apart from Shivraj Singh Chauhan, former Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra called the occasion "joyous" and took a jibe at opposition parties, saying, "It is a joyous occasion for all of us. Narendra Modi will be taking oath for the third consecutive term. He has set many benchmarks throughout his life, this is yet another one... Those who could not even score passing marks, are raising questions on those who've passed..."

As preparations for the oath-taking ceremony progressed, PM Modi paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat alongside Hardeep Singh Puri. The ceremony, scheduled for 7:15 pm on Sunday at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, will witness the swearing-in of PM Modi and his council of ministers.

Stringent security measures have been implemented in the national capital, with 1,100 traffic police personnel deployed and traffic advisories issued to facilitate smooth movement. Additionally, NSG commandos, drones, and snipers will bolster security at the Rashtrapati Bhavan for the grand event.
