Shahdol: Last night 6 children admitted to SNCU and child ward died in Kushabhau Thakre, District Hospital, Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh. 2 children died in the child ward while 4 children died in the SNCU ward. It is being told that all the children were suffering from pneumonia. Children ranged in age from 7 days to 4 months. At the same time, the officials responsible for the incident have kept silence.

It is noteworthy that the news of the death of newborn children came from Satna district. Two newborns died after being vaccinated in Konaita village under Jaitwara police station area. It was told that the family had vaccinated the children on January 11, after which their health deteriorated and both died on Monday morning. After the vaccination of 5 other children of the same village, the health had deteriorated.

Condolences were expressed by the former Chief Minister of the state and BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chauhan by tweeting on the death of children in Shahdol.
