Bhopal: The IFA Award has once again come up for discussion ahead of the proposed assembly bye-elections in Madhya Pradesh. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Friday that the IFA Award will not be held in the state. It was a big dream of former CM and Congress leader Kamal Nath to organise the IFA Award in the diocese.

In fact, Kamal Nath announced in February that the IIFA Awards would be held in Bhopal and Indore in March 2020, but it was cancelled at that time in view of the growing threat of corona. Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandes along with the then CM Kamal Nath were also present at the Minto Hall in Bhopal in February when the IIFA award date was announced. The then CM Kamal Nath had claimed that the IIFA award at Indore would benefit the businessmen there. This will bring the shattered and the money will come from the arrival of the people in the hotels.

Kamal Nath had said that if you go to places like Ujjain, Omkareshwar, Mandu in IIFA, it will also boost tourism and the IFA Award will name Madhya Pradesh in the country and abroad. But on the contrary, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan told the press on Friday that there is no need for ifa award, it is a spectacle and I don't like the spectacle.
