Mumbai: Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has put forward a separate theory to the media in connection with the 'Free Kashmir' poster being shown in protest against JNU violence at Mumbai's Gateway of India, the country's financial capital. Sanjay Raut has described the meaning of 'free Kashmir' as the restoration of internet and mobile services there. Sanjay Raut also cited newspapers for this.

Sanjay Raut said that the purpose of saying 'Free Kashmir' is not to separate Kashmir from India. We will not tolerate anyone who talks about this type. Those people who showed the posters of Free Kashmir had to say that there are many problems in Kashmir, Internet and many necessary facilities are closed, this was what the people said to be free from these problems. Sanjay Raut further said, 'The Shiv Sena still supports the removal of Article 370 and considers Kashmir an integral part of India.'

He further said that 'If anyone says that Kashmir is to be separated from India, it cannot be considered that we are firm on the fact that Kashmir is an integral part of India'. At the same time, the girl showing the poster has clarified while sharing a video from her Facebook account. This girl named Mehak Mirza Prabhu says that she had found the poster lying there, which she had picked up.
