In yet another horrific incident, the head of a 10-year-old girl was found missing. The head of a deceased girl who was buried 10 days ago was found missing from her grave in Tamil Nadu's Chengalpattu. A case has been registered by Police officials who are probing all angles.

The head of a deceased 10-year-old girl, who was buried ten days ago, went missing from her grave in Chitravadi village near Madhuranthakam in Tamil Nadu’s Chengalpattu district. The shocking incident was reported on Tuesday, October 25. Officials have initiated a probe into the matter.

The victim Kritika, a Class 6 student, was seriously injured on October 5. An electric pole fell on her while she was playing outside her house, causing a severe head injury. After battling for life for close to nine days in the hospital, the nine-year-old girl passed away on October 14. Her family buried her on October 15 after performing the last rites. 

After ten days of the incident her parents, Pandian and Nadia, saw that her grave had been tampered with. After getting suspicious about it, they filed a complaint with the police. Based on this complaint, police, in the presence of the district medical department officials and the district revenue department officials, dug the grave open and were shocked to find the girl’s head was missing. As of now Police is looking into the matter. They are probing whether the girl’s head was taken away due to enmity or whether it was part of some witchcraft, among other angles. Meanwhile, Police also find used gloves and a torch light near the spot where the girl was buried.
