Disabilities and circumstances can’t restrict you from your dreams. Shradha Vaishnav, 18 year old cricketer from Chattisgarh has made it through to the State women’s cricket team of Chattisgarh. She is 90% speech and hearing impaired from her birth, but even this inability wasn’t able to stop her from becoming India’s first physically challenged player in a regular women's team in the country.

Bilaspur born Shradha began her cricketing career at the age of 13 when she used to watch it on TV with her younger brother. It was the time when she told her father Ramesh Vaishnav about her passion, and her dream to play cricket at a good level.

He took her to cricket coach in the local cricketing club and then was the time when she got to develop her bowling talent, especially as spinner.
