Last year, Shruti Haasan made her OTT debut with the Netflix anthology Pitta Kathalu. Bestseller, the actress's first web series, has wrapped up its shooting. On February 18th, she will feature in a web series produced in Hindi for Amazon Prime Video in which she will play the female protagonist.
"I'm really looking forward to web series. I have a great part to perform, and people will notice. The procedure of filming a web series and a film is the same. Only afterwards do we notice the difference. When a film is released on OTT, it will reach a new audience. The online series will have deep and elaborate stories, as Shruti told media sources. She will reunite with Mithun Chakraborty after 12 years in the series, which is based on Ravi Subramanian's novel The Bestseller. They first worked on Shruti's debut film, Luck, a 2009 action thriller. The storyline revolves around love, betrayal, and forgiveness.
"Apart from Netflix's Squid Game, I practically watched every popular title on OTT." I'm not going to see it till the excitement has faded away because I don't want to view it with preconceived notions. As a result, I'd only watch it after a year. That's how I'm always. "I didn't read Harry Potter when everyone was obsessed with it when I was a kid," the actress said.
