Amritsar: Navjot Singh Sidhu on Wednesday released a video message amid the ongoing political turmoil in the Punjab Congress. This is Navjot Singh Sidhu's first reaction after he resigned as the head of the Punjab Congress unit. Sidhu says he cannot compromise on his issues and will continue to fight for rights and truth.

Navjot Singh Sidhu further said, "Dear Punjabis, 17 years of the political journey have been done with a purpose. To improve the lives of the people of Punjab and to address issues. That was my religion and that's my duty, I haven't fought any personal battles. My fight is of issues, Punjab has an agenda of its own. I have been fighting the battle for my rights and truth with this agenda, there is no agreement.'' Sidhu said, 'My father has taught only one thing, wherever difficulties arise, fight for the truth. Whenever I see that truth is being compromised, when I see that those who gave a clean chit to the Badal government some time ago, opened fire on children, they were given the responsibility of justice. The one who has given bail openly is the Advocate General.''

In his video message, Sidhu said, 'I can neither mislead nor allow the high command to be misled. I will sacrifice anything for the people of Punjab, but I will fight on my principles. The same system cannot be created by returning tainted leaders, tainted officers.' At the end of the video, Navjot Singh Sidhu said in his poetic style that 'Usoolon Pe Jahan Aanch Aaye To Takrana Jaruri Hain Jo Zinda Ho To Fir Zinda Nazar Aana Jaruri Hai.'
