Amritsar: After the killing of singer Sidhu Mesuwala in Punjab, the controversy over the removal of his security has intensified. A day before his murder, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab had snatched the security of 424 people. But now the Bhagwant Mann government in Punjab has been reprimanded by the court. The court has also expressed displeasure over the fact that the list of those who withdrew the security has been leaked.  

For now, the court has ordered the restoration of the security of 424 people. From June 7, the security of all of them will be restored. In fact, the Bhagwant Mann government also insisted that the security of those VIPs was removed from his side only for a limited period of time. But the court has made it clear that even if one's security is to be removed, the circumstances should be properly reviewed first, all aspects should be deliberated upon, only then such a decision should be taken.

Let us know that the AAP government of Punjab had taken away the security of 424 VIP people last month. It included several retired officers, including deramukhi. Security of senior Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leaders Charan Jeet Singh Dhillon, Baba Lakha Singh, Satguru Udhaya Singh, Sant Tarminder Singh were also withdrawn. Among these people, the security of Sidhu Musewala was also removed. At that time, the government argued that additional personnel were required to maintain law and order in the state, which is why the security of 424 people was withdrawn after the review meeting.
