In the BJP-JJP government, there is a lot of political tugging. Trouble between the two parties is not taking the name of being less. There is a dispute in the government over the CID (Crime Investigation Department). The CID will remain with Chief Minister Manoharlal or will continue to report to Home Minister Anil Vij, there is a possibility of a ruckus in the government. While work is going on in the Chief Minister's office to separate the CID from the Home Department and create a new Department, there are also indications that if the CID is separated from the Home Department, Anil Vij may leave the Home Ministry. Home Minister Anil Vij himself has expressed apprehension that everything cannot be considered right behind the intention of separating CID from the Home Department.

According to sources in the CM office regarding this matter, internal preparation is going on to separate the CID from the Home Department. If this happens, then the CID will remain with the Chief Minister and it will have nothing to do with the Home Department.

Home Minister Anil Vij is claiming that CID is a part of the Home Department and its minister is the same. Vij was forced to say this because in the past, considering the CID as a separate department, it was displayed in the departments of Chief Minister Manohar Lal on the site of the Haryana government. When this happened, Vij expressed his objection that CID cannot be a separate department, as it is a part of the Home Department. If the CID is to be segregated, then a bill has to be introduced in the Assembly for the same.
