New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the profound teachings of Sikh gurus, highlighting their message to live for the glory of the nation. Speaking at the "Veer Bal Diwas" event commemorating the martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh's two sons, Modi underscored the inspiration drawn from their sacrifices in building a better and developed India. He noted that the impact of these sacrifices extends globally, with commemorative events in countries such as the United States, Australia, and New Zealand.

Modi affirmed his government's clear vision and roadmap to fulfill the aspirations of India's youth, transcending regional and societal boundaries. He emphasized the government's strong policy and unwavering commitment, citing the growth of the Indian economy as evidence. Encouraging the youth to prioritize their health, Modi suggested that maintaining fitness leads to success in both careers and life. He urged them to adopt a healthy diet, practice digital detoxification, and reject the use of narcotics. Modi also appealed to religious leaders and social organizations to initiate a movement against drug abuse.

Reflecting on "Veer Bal Diwas," the Prime Minister highlighted its significance as a symbol of the determination to safeguard Indian values. The event served as a tribute to the two "Sahibzadas," embodying the commitment to protect and uphold the essence of Indianness.
