Shimla's Army Training Command (ARTRAC) is commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Kargil War with a grand 'Kargil Vijay Diwas Rajat Jayanti Mahotsav.' Inaugurated by Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, this event features exhibitions and various shows that highlight the bravery of the Indian Army while promoting entrepreneurship among Army officers' wives and local women.
The celebration not only pays tribute to the 527 soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the 1999 Kargil War but also aims to educate the public and inspire youth, including members of the National Cadet Corps (NCC). The event has drawn significant attention at the Ridge Grounds in Shimla, captivating large crowds.
