The Airlines Group Singapore announced resumption of passenger flights from India from November end. "On November 29, subject to regulatory clearances, Singapore Airlines will commence daily Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) services from Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai, enabling eligible customers with quarantine-free entry into Singapore," the carrier stated in a statement.

For the first time since March 2020, the services signal the restoration of operations from India. Non-VTL services will be operated by Scoot, SIA's low-cost subsidiary, from Amritsar, Hyderabad, and Tiruchirappalli.

"In addition, from November 29, SIA will operate non-VTL routes from Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Kochi. Customers on these flights must meet Singapore's entry requirements and will be subject to current health control measures, including a seven-day quarantine in Singapore," the statement added.

"To mark the anniversary, Singapore Airlines is offering up to 50 percent off select prices to Singapore from all SIA locations in India." "Round trip rates start at Rs 13,100 (all inclusive)," according to the release, "and consumers can take advantage of this sale from November 23 to December 31 for travel before December 31."
