Necessary ingredients :

¾ cup water chestnut flour (Singhara)
¾ cup sour yogurt
2-4 Green Chillies
Rock salt to taste
1½ tbsp ghee
1 cup water
Lemon juice as per taste
1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves

Keep these things in mind if your fasting amid lokcdown

Method of preparation: Firstly heat half tablespoon ghee in a pan. Then add water chestnut flour and fry it till it becomes golden. This process takes 10–12 minutes. When the flour is well roasted, take it out in a plate greased with ghee. Now separate the green chili stalks and chop it finely. Whisk the curd well and add 1 cup of water to it. Now heat a little ghee in a pan and fry the chopped green chillies in it. After some time, add water mixed yogurt solution. When the curd comes to a boil, add roasted flour and rock salt. Then mix all the ingredients well. Now cook it while stirring. The dough takes 3 to 4 minutes to cook. Turn off the gas when all the water of the dough dries up and starts to look like a halwa. Then add lemon juice on top of the flour, now spread this mixture evenly in a half inch thick layer in the pre-smooth curry plate. Then let it cool down. When it cools down, cut the barfi into desired shape.
