Shahjahanpur: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has seized the laptop and a pen drive of BJP leader DPS Rathore in a recovery case relating to a law student accused of sexually assaulting Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Union Minister Chinmayanand. It is being told that video clips related to the incident are present in it. Rathore was questioned by the SIT on Sunday for 12 hours for a suspected role in the recovery case lodged by Chinmayananda.

Rathore is the chairman of the District Cooperative Bank and was also present in Dausa, Rajasthan, where the SIT team recovered a 23-year-old girl from Mehendipur Balaji Temple on August 30. Please tell that on August 24, the student went missing. The law student had said in her complaint that Ajit Singh had taken a pen drive from her, which contained evidence of her sexual abuse.

Rathore, the younger brother of BJP state vice president JPS Rathore, later told the press that, I was trying to cooperate with the administration, but now it seems that the SIT had misunderstood something. He said I went to Dausa to help in the search of the missing student at the request of some high police officers. DPS Rathore said that he was accompanied by another BJP leader Ajit Singh at that time. Ajit Singh is the brother-in-law of Vikram accused in the recovery case.
