Chandigarh: Polling is being held today for 59 seats in the third phase in UP as well as all assembly seats in Punjab. A total of 1304 candidates are trying their luck in 117 assembly seats in the state. In Punjab, Minister Pargat Singh, who cast his vote at a polling station in Mithapur in Jalandhar, said after casting his vote, he said that every citizen should vote, due to which democracy gets strength. In same Punjab, Sona-Mona cast their votes for the first time.

At the same time, Prime Minister Modi today said that the voting for the third phase of Punjab elections and Uttar Pradesh elections is taking place today. I call on all those who vote today to vote in large numbers, especially the youth and first-time voters. Bhagwant Mann, the CM candidate from AAP, said that this is a big day for Punjab. Ahead of the polling for all the seats in Punjab and the third phase of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted that you must ensure your participation by voting in the elections of the festival of democracy. One vote each is invaluable for the strength of democracy.
