Lucknow: Union Minister and Lok Sabha MP from Amethi Smriti Irani has sent Diwali gifts to 10,000 women of Amethi. On Tuesday, Smriti Irani's representative Vijay Gupta reached Amethi with a consignment of 10,000 sarees, diyas and incense sticks. After this, he handed it over to Utthan Seva Sansthan as well as BJP Yuva Morcha, Kisan Morcha and Mahila Morcha. Through these, it will be distributed among needy families in the entire Lok Sabha constituency.

Let me tell you that since Union Minister Smriti Irani became politically active in Amethi, something has been gifted on Diwali. In 2015, Smriti Irani insured 25,000 women of Amethi. While in the year 2018, sarees were distributed to women. In the last few years, due to the Corona epidemic, Irani had also sent relief materials to Amethi. This year, once again, a consignment of ten thousand sarees has been sent to Amethi on the occasion of Diwali.

Smriti Irani's representative Vijay Gupta handed over the material to Sudhanshu Sharma, Vijay Kumar of Utthan Seva Sansthan as well as BJP Kisan Morcha District President Raju Singh, Yuva Morcha District President Vishuv Mishra and Mahila Morcha District President Asha Bajpai for distribution. For Didi (Irani), Amethi is her family and it is a gift to that family. District in-charge Sanjay Rai said that Union Minister Smriti Irani is always with Amethi in happiness and sorrow. In the same sequence, this commendable effort has been made on Diwali.
