Dehradun: Due to the solar eclipse, the doors of Gangotri Dham have been closed at around 4:00 am today. Now the doors will be opened at 6:00 pm for the devotees to see. Let us tell you that devotees will not be able to visit other temples including the popular Chardham Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri of the state today. Due to the solar eclipse, the doors of Chardham will be closed.  

Due to the same eclipse period, there will be no darshan, worship, or aarti in temples. The portals of Badrinath on November 19, and the Kedarnath and Yamunotri shrines will be closed on October 27. On October 26, the portals of Gangotri Dham will be closed for winter. So far, more than 44 lakh devotees have visited Chardham.
