In fact, Sonu Sood has given 25,000 face shields for police personnel in Maharashtra, State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has given this information on social media on Thursday. Recently Anil Deshmukh tweeted, "I thank @SonuSood ji for your generous contribution of giving 25,000 #FaceShields to my police personnel."

The minister has also shared a picture of both of them on the micro-blogging site. Earlier, Sonu had also opened the doors of the hotel located in Juhu in Mumbai for medical workers. Before that, when the country was under lockdown, he launched a scheme in the name of his father Shakti Sagar Sood, under which he fed many people. Apart from that, he also donated masks to the Mumbai Police at that time. With this, he has sent many laborers to his house so far. Due to these noble works, he has impressed his fans at this time.

Many people had also said on social media that 'the kind of work that Sonu Sood has done in this hour of disaster, he should be awarded the Bharat Ratna'. Apart from this, Sonu and his team had also issued a toll-free number and WhatsApp number so that he could help the people. In the month of March, Sonu and his team had arranged for a bus, train and airplane to take the people trapped away from their home due to the national lockdown.
