The board has yet to decide who will be elected in place of Shashank Manohar, who resigned on Wednesday as the chairman of the International Cricket Council. Some people from India have also been selected for this, who may be sitting on this chair. But nothing has been decided yet. Former BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah and Cricket Association of Bihar (CAB) secretary Aditya Verma have given a big suggestion to BCCI. Niranjan Shah and Aditya Verma have criticized Indian Shashank Manohar, who resigned from the post of ICC chairman and then suggested that BCCI should name N Srinivasan to become the ICC boss.
Aditya Verma said that in the last five years, BCCI has lost crores of rupees due to only one person. Verma directly targeted Shashank and said, "Our Ranchod Manohar has created the image of a captain who leaves the ship sinking in the sea and saves himself, whether it is BCCI or ICC. Sourav Ganguly should discharge his responsibility well for the strength of BCCI and send N. Srinivasan on behalf of BCCI in ICC. Ganguly in BCCI and Srinivasan's efficient leadership in ICC is an urgent need."
From Indian side, Besides N. Srinivasan, Anurag Thakur, and Sourav Ganguly are eligible for the post of ICC chairman but due to Anurag Thakur's politics, he might not want to go to the ICC. Former captain Sourav Ganguly Would not like to be the boss of ICC to pursue BCCI and Indian cricket. In this case, India has an option in the form of N. Srinivasan, which can be considered. But no decision has been taken on this.
