A source has confirmed that Malhotra wants to grant not only honorary membership of ICA to Sourav Ganguly and Sunil Gavaskar but also to work on the pension of former players.

Dhoni did not reach to watch the test even in his home ground, questions raised

Regarding the membership of Ganguly and Gavaskar, Malhotra said that we will invite both Sunil Gavaskar and Sourav Ganguly to be part of the ICA. How can you be a Cricketers' Association without sports giants? Now that Ganguly is the next BCCI President, we want him to be present. But yes, we would like to assign him an honorary membership to avoid the issue of conflict of interest. The ICA has around 1500 members.
