Jabalpur: An emergency landing of a SpiceJet aircraft has been made at the Delhi Airport. The pilot made an emergency landing after seeing smoke billowing from the cabin of the aircraft as he took off from Delhi to Jabalpur. According to the report, the Delhi-Jabalpur SpiceJet aircraft (SG-2962) had to land back at the Delhi airport on Saturday morning when the cabin crew noticed smoke rising inside the aircraft, the aircraft was flying at an altitude of 5,000 feet.
A SpiceJet spokesperson said that all the passengers have safely disembarked at the Delhi airport. In a video of news agency ANI, it is seen that as soon as the smoke enters the cabin, the passengers are seen airing themselves from newspapers and airline booklets. Saurabh Chhabra, a passenger, shared the video on Twitter. Together he wrote that he had to face this case this morning. It seems SpiceJet is now unsafe for travel. Once upon a time, the passengers started to get scared, and they returned to Delhi. The plane was on fire. Thankfully we are safe, he also wrote that he has been waiting for the flight for a long time, but SpiceJet does not have a backup.
