New Delhi:Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju said that more than 10 crore people have participated in the 'Fit India' campaign so far, aiming to improve the physical and mental health of the people of the country. In fact, Rijiju was speaking during a bicycle rally of Divang Jawans of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) that the rally has reached Delhi in 16 days by travelling 1000 km from Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad.
Rijiju said, "I reviewed the Fit India campaign which was launched by PM Modi and I am happy to tell you that more than 10 crore people have joined so far. In a CRPF rally at Rajghat here, Rijiju said, the campaign was launched with the goal of improving the physical and mental health of the people of the country. Rijiju also said that when forces like CRPF join such missions or campaigns, they become the inspiration of many people.
The sports minister said that this bicycle rally of CRPF's ' Divang Warriors ' gives a message of peace, commitment and emotion. With this, Rijiju said that the sports ministry will leave no stone unturned to provide facilities to disabled sportspersons. He said, "The government does not discriminate between the players... Whether it is a common player or a para player, there is no discrimination between them.
