Lucknow: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is coming back to power in Uttar Pradesh with a thumping majority under the leadership of CM Yogi. But in some key seats BJP has to face defeat. Actually, there are three assembly seats in Shamli district, out of which Nahid Hasan has won one of the Kairana seats. Let us inform that the Gangster Act is imposed on Nahid Hasan and he was on the run till the election program was announced.

Nahid Hasan defeated BJP candidate Mriganka Singh by 25,199 votes. Minister Suresh Rana is trailing in Thanabhavan seat. At the same time, Ashraf Ali Khan of the alliance is running here. Tejendra Singh of BJP has got an edge from Shamli seat. By the way, if we talk about voting in all the three assembly seats of Shamli, there was a good turnout here. 75.01 percent polling was recorded in Kairana. 67.58 percent voting was recorded in Shamli seat, while 67.86 percent voting was recorded in Thana Bhavan.

Let us inform that in UP, BJP is leading in 268 seats and Samajwadi Party (SP) is in second place with 129 seats. On the other hand, if we talk about Congress, then it seems to be getting 2 seats in its account. Apart from this, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is seen getting one seat.
