Thursday;June 30,2016:Seven boats of Tamil Nadu fishermen were destroyed by Sri Lankan naval personnel off Nedhunthivu in the island nation.
According to the Fisheries Department officials,"The naval personnel also damaged their nets, warned them against fishing in their territorial waters and chased them away"
As they further added said that,"About 2,148 fishermen from this hamlet had put out to sea in 537 boats last night"
