SSB caught Nigerian citizen entering Nepal, 3 Nepali citizens also arrested

Patna: A Nigerian national has been arrested by the SSB personnel guarding the Indo-Nepal border. Three Nepalese people have also been arrested along with him. The arrested Nigerian man has been identified as Augustine Chinadu Navodu, 25. He is  a resident of Silvesti Navaodu Obolo IMO in Nigeria. He has described himself as associated with the ISKCON Trust. The SSB has handed him over to the Bihar Police after interrogation. Police are taking further action.  

Three Nepalese nationals have been identified for trying to sneak into Nepal. Among them, Jeevchha Sah is a resident of Dhanusha district of Nepal. While Vijay Kumar Yadav and Dr. Jagdish Adhikari are residents of Mahotri district of Nepal. SSB personnel have recovered daily use items and painkillers from the four Police are trying to find out if they all use these drugs.

No valid documents such as passport, visa etc. have been found from the arrested Nigerian man. The documents recovered from him have been found to be fake. Rs 22,880 in Indian currency and Rs 13,405 in Nepali currency were also recovered from his possession. According to information received from Nepalese nationals, the arrested Nigerian man belongs to the ISKCON Trust temple. He preaches under the name of Chintamani Goswami Maharaj. The three arrested Nepalese nationals have identified themselves as his followers.
