New Delhi: Due to increasing pollution people are being troubled for a long, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Environment of the Ministry of Urban Development held a serious discussion on air pollution on Wednesday. The committee is scheduled to meet again next week to review the situation of air pollution. In this meeting held in the Parliament complex, MPs have expressed concern over the air pollution situation in the entire NCR including Delhi.

According to the information received, in this meeting chaired by MP Jagdambika Pal, it was decided that the Ministry of Environment will work with the states on air pollution control. In this meeting, Gautam Gambhir, Hema Malini, Sanjay Singh, Kalyan Banerjee, CR Patil, SP S Baghel joined the MPs. Earlier, MP Pal had written a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker, Om Birla complaining of apathy to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on air pollution. On which on Tuesday, the speaker asked the officials and MPs to take the problem of air pollution seriously.
