New Delhi: Opposition on CAA and the strategy of the parties involved in the ruling NDA has suddenly changed. Despite solidarity on protest due to local politics, opposition parties are avoiding coming together on one platform. While many parties of the NDA (NDA), after supporting the CAA, are now taking a U-turn for fear of political damage. Other allies other than the BJP leading the ruling coalition are either silent or have come out against it.

According to information received from sources, it has been learned that SP, BSP, Shiv Sena, AAP, TMC and DMK have kept distance from the opposition meeting held on Monday against CAA, NRC, NPC. At the same time it is being said that AAP and Congress in Delhi, Left parties in West Bengal, Congress and TMC, SP, BSP and Congress in UP are rival to each other. Whereas the NCP (Nationalist Congress Party) in Maharashtra and the Shiv Sena, which forms the government with the Congress, are refraining from taking a sharp stance on these issues for fear of discounting their Hinduist image. At the same time, most such opposition parties attended the meeting, which do not have rivalry with each other in the states.

Danger of displeasure of Muslims: Let us tell you for your information, after the support, all the allies who are going to protest or keep silence also have a basis in the Muslim class. Muslims across the country are extremely angry against the CAA. The allies feel that they will have to bear political losses. Assembly elections are to be held this year, especially in Bihar. This is the reason why Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said no to nrc while advocating further discussion on the revised citizenship law. While the AGP is openly in opposition.
