PMO took strict notice to stop the drug trade in Himachal

A stern notice has been taken by the Prime Minister's Office on the prevalence of drug addiction in Himachal. Senior Congress leader and MLA Ramlal Thakur had written a written complaint to PM Narendra Modi that the drug trade is increasing rapidly in the state. The younger generation of the state is being caught in the grip of drugs. It is being told that on this complaint of Ramlal Thakur, the PMO has sent a letter to the office of Chief Minister Jairam Thakur. The Himachal government has also assured to take action on the matter.

Recently, senior Congress leader Ramlal Thakur sent a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In it, there was concern about the growing drug business in Himachal. It also sought to take appropriate action in the case. He wrote in the letter that till now, Udta Punjab was called, but now in Himachal also the drug business is spreading fast. The letter wrote that after clamping down on the drug trade in Punjab, it is now spreading in Himachal. The drug mafia is supplying chitta in the state.

Due to this, many youth have lost their lives. Action is not being taken on the big mafia involved in Chitta's business, however, the small businessmen involved in the drug trade are being caught and the case is being dismissed. In this regard, the Chief Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Public Grievance Redressal Department has sent a letter number RPG-B (15) 2/2018-B LP-3 to the concerned Congress leader. It said that the matter has been sent to the concerned department to resolve it. A letter has also been sent to the Prime Minister's Office in this regard.
