KARIMNAGAR: In a horrific incident, a student who completed the intermediate course and sought admission to an engineering college reportedly committed suicide after he failed to get back his Intermediate certificates from the college authorities.

The student namely  Jakkula Anjith, belonged to Karimnagar town, who studied his intermediate in Adibatla SR Sri Gayatri College in Hyderabad and completed his course successfully.

The management of the college refused to give him his intermediate certificates, which were necessary for admission to the engineering college, because he could not pay the full tuition fee.

Anjith and his parents asked the school authoriteis to release the certificates on multiple occasions and assured them they would pay the full amount as soon as they get the money.

Anjith was not given the credentials by the harshly acting college administration even after the first round of engineering seat counselling was finished.

Anjith took the drastic stepafter attending college for the last month and experiencing sadness. He made an attempt at suicide two days prior, and after being admitted to a private hospital, he died on Monday. Anjith's father received a phone call from BJP state chief and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay, who offered his condolences to the family.
He criticised for harassing students in the name of fees the corporate and private educational institutions, and he questioned the chief minister Chandrasekhar Rao as to why he remained silent in such cases.
