Patna: The angry students threw ink at the Union Minister Ashwini Choubey, who came to know to meet the dengue patients on Tuesday at PMCH. After the floods in Patna and other districts of Bihar, the outbreak of dengue continues in other districts including Patna. The number of dengue patients is increasing steadily. In view of this, Union Minister Ashwini Choubey reached PMCH and as soon as he started sitting in the carriage, a student threw ink on him to go back after inspecting the wards.

The student escaped after throwing ink at the minister. The security personnel attempted to apprehend the accused student but failed. Angered by the incident, the Union Minister termed it as a politically motivated incident and said that this kind of work is for those doing dirty politics, they do not know what they get from it.

However, the ink-throwing student has described it as his personal decision, saying that he is the Youth State Secretary of the Jan Adhikar Party. He took this step after getting fed up with the problem of floods and waterlogging in Bihar. The student also said that the whole of Bihar is vulnerable to dengue and the administration is not taking any action.
