New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and senior advocate Subramaniam Swamy has again questioned the Namo government at the Center for declaring Ram Setu as an ancient historical monument. Subramaniam Swamy has sought a response from the Modi government at the Center by tweeting that the government should explain why 'Ram Setu' has not yet been declared an ancient historical monument.

Subramanian Swamy tweeted today (February 10) from his official tweeter handle, "Can anyone explain me why even after five and a half years the Modi government has not declared Ram Setu an ancient heritage monument? Which is according to the Ancient Monuments Act Section 2. Tell me, will I have to be compelled to go to the top court on this matter like Ram temple?"

Subramanian Swamy had earlier given suggestions to the Narendra Modi government at the Center regarding the country's economy. BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy even said that PM Modi does not understand the economy. Subramanian Swamy had demanded that he should be replaced as Finance Minister in place of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
