Sudha Chandran started her dancing career at the age of 3. Sudha Chandran was very good at studies and also topped her 10th class board, but she still chose art without choosing science, because she wanted to devote more time to dancing. Sudha Chandran had a very good career, but suddenly lost one of her legs in a road accident in 1981. But the accident did not allow her to break down and with the help of an artificial 'Jaipur Foot', she removed her disability, having to undergo physiotherapy for about 3 years to recover.
