Suicider bomb attack kills 26 Aghan Security personnel

Around 26 Afghan security personnel, and 17 injured in a car bomb attack took place in Afghanistan on Sunday morning, officials reported. As per initial reports, the bomb was made active by a suicide bomber in the Ghaznil province. The explosion being treated as a direct attack on the Provincial Council.

Few days back Afghanistan's capital city was targetted with nearly 23 rockets by the Islamic State (IS). Today's incident took place in Ghazni, capital of the eastern province of Ghazn. The emergency services are now attending to the injured people. "We have received 26 bodies and 17 wounded so far. All of them are security personnel," Baz Mohammad Hemat, director of Ghazni hospital said. However, the extent of damages is still not known as it is being analysed by the officials. 

An investigation into the matter has been started, and more details will be revealed soon by the officials. In the multiple rockets attack last week in the Kabul, including Chehel Sutoon and Arzaan Qeemat areas 8 people martyred, 31 were wounded.
