Shimla: The first cabinet expansion of the Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government is going to take place in Himachal Pradesh on Sunday (January 8) at 10 am. It is being told that about 7 MLAs can take the oath of office in this. The list of names sent by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu to the high command includes Vikramaditya Singh, son of former CM Virbhadra Singh and Pratibha Singh. It is believed that he can be given the Sports Ministry.

Apart from this, Chander Kumar from Jawali in Kangra, former minister and former Lok Sabha MP and oldest MLA from Solan, Dhani Ram Shandil, 6-time MLA from Shillai in Sirmaur Harshvardhan Chauhan, former deputy speaker of Kinnaur Jagat Singh Negi, former chief minister Ram Lal Thakur Four-time MLA Rohit Thakur from Jubbal-Kotkhai and former minister Sudhir Sharma from Kangra's Dharamshala can also find a place in the cabinet.

By the way, 10 MLAs can be made ministers in the Himachal cabinet. Because here the total number of ministers including the CM and Deputy CM cannot be more than 12. The Congress won the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections and Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu was made the Chief Minister. Mukesh Agnihotri was made deputy CM along with him. Now the Congress government is going to expand the cabinet after about a month.
