New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India has granted bail to the arrested journalist of Kerala Siddiqui Kappan with the condition. The apex court said that Siddiqui Kappan would remain under police protection. The court granted bail to journalist Siddiqui Kappan for 5 days. Kappan had sought bail on the basis of his mother's health.

After five days, Siddiqui Kappan will again report to jail. He will not be able to meet anyone else during bail. They have to be under police protection for 24 hours. The Supreme Court has ordered that Siddiqui Kappan will not release any statement during bail or on social media. Although he can meet his family and doctor. The UP Police will be deployed to protect Siddiqui Kappan while the Kerala police will assist in this. Kapil Sibal, appearing in court on behalf of Siddiqui Kappan, said that the health of the mother of the arrested journalist Siddiqui Kappan is not right. So Siddiqui Kappan should be granted bail for 5 days.

At the same time, the UP government said in the court that there are serious allegations against the arrested journalist Siddiqui Kappan, he is an active member of PFI, money trail of money has to be found, some posters are also being investigated. Right now the basis for granting them bail is not being made. The UP government said that people related to Siddiqui Kappan are collecting money in Kerala.
