New Delhi: Samajwadi Party stalwart and Rampur Lok Sabha seat MP Azam Khan and his son Abdullah Khan have been granted bail. The apex court has granted bail to both of them in two PAN card cases. Azam Khan and his son are accused in several cases and are lodged in Sitapur jail. At present, the Supreme Court has granted bail to Azam Khan and his son Abdullah Khan in two PAN card cases.

Azam Khan is a senior Samajwadi Party leader and parliament from Rampur in Uttar Pradesh. He had earlier served as an MLA from Rampur and was also a cabinet minister in the then Samajwadi Party government. Azam Khan is considered to be a very close leader of both Mulayam Singh and Akhilesh Yadav.
