Bhopal: A big news has come about standup comedian Munawar Farooqui. Recently he has been granted interim bail by the Supreme Court. The petitioner has alleged that the accused has not been arrested as per the rule. It is also being said that the Supreme Court will review the order of the High Court. This is because the High Court rejected the plea denying bail to Munawar Farooqui. The Supreme Court has stayed the production warrant issued from Allahabad High Court.

According to reports, the Supreme Court has also issued a notice on the petition seeking to dismiss all the cases against Munawar Farooqui in other states. About a month ago, standup comedian Munavvar Farooqui allegedly made objectionable comments on Hindu deities during his show. Many people got annoyed with this complaint.

On his complaint, the police took action and arrested Munawar. As soon as the matter came to light, the Madhya Pradesh High Court dismissed the bail plea of Munawar Farooqui. After that, he filed a total of two petitions in the Supreme Court. In one of these, he has pleaded to release himself on bail, while in the second, he has demanded transfer of the cases against him in different states. On both these petitions, the Supreme Court has issued a notice giving interim bail.
