New Delhi: The Supreme Court of the country on Monday advised the Indians trapped abroad due to the complete ban on the Corona virus 'Kovid 19' and said, "Stay where you are." The Supreme Court also refused to interfere with the restrictions imposed by the Central Government on bringing indigenous people abroad.

Supreme Court Chief Justice S.A. Bobde, Justice L. A bench of Nageswara Rao and Justice MM Shantanagoudar appealed to the Indians who stayed abroad to "stay where they are". The court said that it would not be possible to bring them back now. The Supreme Court held a joint hearing of seven petitions urging the evacuation of stranded students, working professionals, unskilled workers and fishermen and Indian nationals in Britain, the United States, Iran and other Gulf countries.

During this time, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta also said that it is not possible to bring people back to India during this crisis and they have reiterated this stance in the affidavit already submitted by the Central Government. Mehta said that visa extensions are being given to people all over the world. In my affidavit I have clearly mentioned that this is not possible right now.
